A new character ice-cream cone is now available and can be found in Magic Kingdom. The Lost Princess Cone is inspired by one of our favorite Princesses, Rapunzel. In honor of one amazing princess, swing by Magic Kingdom and grab your Lost Princess Cone today.
If you recall from the 2010 film, Rapunzel was the Princess of Corona, and known for her long and magical hair. She was taken by Mother Gothel and locked in the tower for eighteen years. Therefore, making her the Lost Princess. Every year on her birthday, floating lanterns are released in her honor. With the help of the handsome Flynn Ryder, Rapunzel was able to escape the tower and follow her dreams, to explore the world outside of the tower.
One look at the cone and we only need one guess to know it’s inspired by Rapunzel. Standing out is the purple cone, from her iconic dress. Filling up the cone is a tangy yellow soft-serve (Dole Whip), representing her spiraling mounds of braided golden blonde hair.
For a fun element to this already delicious cone, are the delicate but edible flowers that decorate Rapunzel’s braid.
So, where can you find new tasty treat? Come down from your tower and swing over to Storybook Treats today. For $5.29, this cone can be your perfect way to enjoy a sunny, warm day at Walt Disney World.
Have you checked out other two new cones that were just recently released? After you try the Lost Princess cone, try the Hei Hei Cone and the Adventure is Out There, also found in Magic Kingdom now. I love that Disney is adding more unique elements to its creations. The edible flowers are certainly a fun and unique element not often found in ice cream.
If you’ve had the chance to try it, let us know what you think. Are you a fan of lemon ice cream, or do you prefer the traditional flavors? Lastly, as someone who’s a huge fan of both Dole Whips and Rapunzel, I will be adding this to my snack list for my next visit.
