Universal Studios Hollywood is marking a significant milestone this year as Super Nintendo World celebrates its first anniversary since opening its doors to the public on February 17, 2023. The new land, which was recently named the 2024 Theme Park Insider’s “Best New Attraction of 2023,” has been a hit with fans since it opened, and the park is celebrating its first anniversary with some exciting new offers!

The celebration is set to introduce new experiences and exclusive offers, including the grand opening of the Power Up Café, the launch of a special-release Golden Power-Up Band, and a complimentary 1st Anniversary Button for guests.
The Power Up Café is slated to open on February 15 on New York Street, located on the Upper Lot inside Universal Studios Hollywood. This new dining venue aims to extend the SUPER NINTENDO WORLD experience beyond its current boundaries and will serve up an array of themed food items such as the Super Mushroom Calzone, 1-Up Mushroom Calzone, Fire Flower Pretzel, and Super Star Popcorn, alongside innovative beverages like the Super Mushroom Fizz and Fire Flower Fizz.
Adding to the celebration, a commemorative Golden Power-Up Band will be available for purchase. This limited-edition band expands the collection of Power-Up Band design options, allowing guests to enhance their interactive experiences within SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.
Moreover, visitors will have the opportunity to receive a complimentary 1-Year Anniversary Button, starting February 17, while supplies last. This collector’s item is a gesture to commemorate the anniversary and thank guests for their continued support and enthusiasm for the attraction.
