The Super Mario Bros. Movie will cross $400 million to remain atop the domestic box office for a third straight weekend. After its first two record-breaking weekends at the office, The Super Mario Bros. Movie will earn an estimated $58.2 million in its third weekend, including $14 million on Friday.
The film’s box office total will climb to $434.3 million, making it Universal Pictures’ third highest-grossing movie of all time, behind only Jurassic World ($653.4 million) and E.T.: The Extraterrestrial ($437.1 million).
