Have you seen some of the new statues created for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary? The Disney Fab 50 Gold Statue collection is popping up all around the Magic Kingdom. Other parks will install their statues in time for the celebration to begin on October 1st. Characters like the Mad Hatter, Lumière, and Dumbo have all been honored with an effigy at Magic Kingdom already. And now, another, more mischievous character has joined the ranks of honored Disney favorites: Stitch!

You can find his adorably naughty realization in Tomorrowland, crawling down the famous “purple wall.” He’s carrying a torn-up “50” in his mouth and is in his alien form, complete with antennas and extra arms. Unlike many of the statues that are on pedestals and placed with dignity around the park, the Stitch statue embraces his rebellious spirit and unpredictability. Do you think he started on a pedestal and escaped? It’s fun to think about! We love it!

You can take a quick spin around the Magic Kingdom and spot some other familiar faces. You’ll find the Abu statue in Adventureland on the sign as you walk across the bridge from the hub. The Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat are by the Mad Tea Party. Lady and the Tramp are outside of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. Pinocchio is near Pinocchio’s Village House.
