Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Is Taking Over Disney Television For A Week

Starting this week, the Disney Family Television Networks will be taken over by the widely popular Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and ESPN will be showcasing some fan favorite characters, offer Easter eggs, family vacation giveaways, and a sneak peek at the land on both coasts!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Is Taking Over Disney Television For A Week

On the ABC network, Galaxy’s Edge will be taking over the daytime and prime time lineup. On Good Morning America this Thursday the 26th (7 a.m. EST), viewers can expect to see appearances from BB-8 and a few Storm Troopers as well. This will also be the place for a must-see first look at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction! Other participating programs are:

  • Tuesday, September 24
    • “Live With Kelly and Ryan” (check local listings)
  • Thursday, September 26
    • “The View” (11 a.m. EST)
    • “Tamron Hall” (check local listings)
    • “Strahan, Sara, and Keke” (1 p.m. EST)
    • “Nightline” (check local listings)

Even ABC’s prime time lineup will be featuring special Star Wars easter eggs and other surprises. The programs listed will be in Eastern Standard Time:

    • “black-ish” (9:30 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, September 25
    • “The Goldbergs” (8 p.m.)
    • “Modern Family” (9 p.m.)
  • Friday, September 27
    • “American Housewife” (8 p.m.)
  • Sunday, September 29
    • “America’s Funniest Home Videos”(7 p.m.)
    • “The Rookie” (10 p.m.)
  • Monday, September 30
    • “Dancing With The Stars” (8 p.m.)

On the Freeform Network, Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting a two-hour special on Sunday the 29th, “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge- Adventure Awaits” (8 p.m.). This star studded special will take you on an exploratory journey through the land at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.

ESPN’s “SportsCenter” will feature special commentators during their “College GameDay” segment. They will discuss their experiences of the land during a recent trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney Channel and Disney Junior will be featuring segments of different adventures that do await while visiting Galaxy’s Edge!
