According to MSN, French gaming company Quantic Dream has had trouble hiring and retaining game developers for the highly anticipated Star Wars: ECLIPSE game. The Quantic Dream website currently lists 60+ roles available at the Paris headquarters and the best case scenario predictions put the release of ECLIPSE sometime in late 2027 or 2028.

A description for the game currently reads, “Set in the High Republic era of the Star Wars™ universe, Star Wars Eclipse™ lets you play as a diverse cast of charismatic characters, each with their own story, abilities, and role to play in the tapestry of events that could alter the carefully balanced peace of the Outer Rim.“
Lucasfilm and Quantic Dream have not commented on the reported delay. This is a developing story, so be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for updates and all things Star Wars!
