Star Wars Day Reaches Capacity for Annual Passholders at Hollywood Studios

May the Force Be Fully Booked? Hollywood Studios Reaches Capacity for Star Wars Day 2025

It’s official, rebels and rogues — May the 4th is off the reservation grid… at least for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. According to the park reservation calendar, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has reached capacity for Passholders on May 4, 2025, and the Force is definitely strong with this one.

While guests with standard tickets or Disney Resort hotel reservations can still snag a spot, Passholders (as well as others with tickets that are not date based) hoping to celebrate Star Wars Day will need to plot a new course through the galaxy — or, you know, park hop after 2 PM.

This Is the Way… To Savi’s

Even though Disney hasn’t officially announced the full lineup of Star Wars Day festivities yet (hello, mysterious they are), we do know one thing for sure: a brand-new lightsaber experience is landing at Savi’s Workshop.

Introducing: “Reclaimed and Reforged” — a next-level build-your-own lightsaber storyline straight from the lore-rich corners of the galaxy. Inspired by ancient conflicts and long-lost legends, this experience lets guests channel their inner Jedi, Sith, or somewhere-in-between and forge a saber with a history as unique as their destiny. Originally introduced at Disneyland’s Season of the Force, this storyline makes its Walt Disney World debut on May the 4th. Supplies will be limited, so if you’re hoping to build a blade, make like hyperspace and be fast.

Limited Snacks, Legendary Hype

In recent years, May the 4th at Hollywood Studios has been more about limited-edition merchandise drops and Star Wars-themed snacks than full-blown galactic battles. (No Ewok parades or impromptu Jedi duels, sadly.) But if history tells us anything, there’s always a surprise or two in store — and Disney does love to keep things close to the chest… like a Mandalorian with a beskar secret.

Can’t Nab a Reservation? Don’t Go Full Sith Just Yet.

If you didn’t secure a reservation to Hollywood Studios before the shields went up, don’t panic like a protocol droid. You can still:

  • Park hop to Hollywood Studios after 2 PM (with an eligible ticket and reservation at another park).
  • Check the reservation calendar frequently — Disney often releases extra capacity closer to the date.
  • Use the Force (of patience and good timing).

And remember: if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or have regular park tickets, you’re still clear to land at Hollywood Studios on May the 4th (provided you used credits to purchase a park ticket that is valid on that day).

In the Meantime…

Keep your comlink tuned for updates. With “Reclaimed and Reforged” ready to ignite and the park at capacity well in advance, Disney is clearly gearing up for something special this year.

So get your robes dry-cleaned, brush up on your Wookiee growls, and polish those droid companion protocols — because Star Wars Day 2025 is shaping up to be a celebration worthy of the Jedi Archives.

Until then, may the snacks be sweet, the merch be exclusive, and the Force be with you… always.
