Star Wars: Ahsoka Series Launches Exclusively On Disney+ August 23rd
Today, Disney+ made an exciting announcement regarding the premiere date of Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated series, “Star Wars: Ahsoka.” Mark your calendars for August 23, as that’s when the show will make its debut. To commemorate this occasion, Disney+ unveiled a TV spot, which will also be broadcast during the NBA Finals Game 3 tonight, and shared three new images from the series.

Taking place in the aftermath of the Empire’s downfall, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” follows the adventures of Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi Knight, as she embarks on a mission to investigate a new threat that endangers the fragile galaxy.
Alongside Rosario Dawson, who portrays the titular character, the cast of “Ahsoka” includes talented individuals such as Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi in the role of Ezra Bridger.
Dave Filoni, the mastermind behind many beloved “Star Wars” projects, serves as the writer for “Ahsoka” and also takes on the role of executive producer alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist contributes as the co-executive producer.
