St. Petersburg's Salvador Dali Museum to feature Dali & Disney Exhibit

A new show at the St. Petersburg’s Salvador Dali Museum will be opening on June 12, called “Disney and Dali: Architects of the Imagination”

The show will be a documentary on the friendship of Walt Disney and artist Salvador Dali, how they shared a dream of bringing art to life, off the canvas and into the real world. The museum’s director explains how the two met in the 1940’s when Dali would frequently be in Hollywood.

There will be a short film being shown that the two men collaborated on called “Destino.”

Dali will also have his own virtual reality exhibit where you can enter into a dreamy, surrealistic 3-D landscape inspired by his art.
