Spooky Halloween Cake at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

There is a new dessert available at Contempo Café that is almost too beautiful to eat! The Halloween Mini Cake features a fun design that looks like a spider web on top, with a few extra festive goodies incorporated into the treat.

With mobile ordering on the My Disney Experience app, we were able to order this dessert from the monorail and it was ready when we arrived.

Contempo Café is a quick service dining location right outside Chef Mickey’s on the 4th floor in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It’s a fun spot to eat at because you can watch the monorail go by above you and, if you’re lucky, you can spot a few characters joining the character dining experience at Chef Mickey’s!

The Halloween Mini Cake is a Halloween Sprinkle Cake filled with candy bar custard and topped with a dark chocolate glaze. The decorations on top are very light- not super sugary at all. The cost of this dessert is $5.99 plus tax.

We loved that the black sprinkles on top look like little spiders in the web!

Not only does this mini cake have a fun Halloween design, it is also delicious! My whole family enjoyed this dessert. I expected a sprinkle cake with candy bar custard to be very heavy, but it wasn’t. It’s definitely one you’ll want to share, though. Between the cake itself and the extra treat decor on top, there’s certainly enough to go around!
