It has been confirmed that Splash Mountain in Disneyland will be closing this May.
UPDATE: The information provided by the OC Register was incorrect. As of right now no closure date has been announced.
The final day of operation for Splash Mountain in Disneyland will be May 6th, 2023, with the ride closed to guests on May 7th.

An exciting refresh is coming soon! Splash Mountain will undergo a transformation—and will reopen in late 2024 as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a whimsical attraction inspired by The Princess and the Frog.
Work has been underway for a few months already in Walt Disney World as it’s Splash Mountain is already undergoing construction to change to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
