Spider-Man Noir Live-Action Series in the Works at Amazon
According to Variety, a brand new Spider-Man Noir live-action series is in the works for Amazon’s streaming service. This untitled series will follow an older Spider-Man, set in 1930’s New York City. The new show will center around a character that is not Peter Parker.
Sony has several properties in development for their “Spider-Verse,” including “Silk: Spider Society” on Amazon and, of course, a follow-up to the Animated Blockbuster Into the SpiderVerse.

The Noir project will be written and produced by Oren Uziel, with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal serving as Executive producers. The character first appeared in “Ultimate Spider-Man,” with Milo Ventimiglia providing voice acting. Nicolas Cage went on to voice the character in “Into the Spider-Verse.” The Amazon show is the first live-action appearance of Spider-Man Noir.
