Marvel Studios has done its best to keep secrets about the film as quiet as possible, but there are some leaks that are just too hard to hide. We knew several villains would be returning to the Spider-verse, such as Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin/Norman Osbourne, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and leaving fans with the expectation that we will also get to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker’s/Spider-Men. This is purely speculation, but I also have a feeling we will see Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, and potentially the MCU debut of Miles Morales, who is already established to exist in Tom Holland’s universe with a phone call from Donald Glover’s character Aaron Davis (Miles’ Uncle/The Prowler) in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

While we will have to wait for new trailers, leaks, and the film’s premiere for more story details we do know the runtime thanks to theaters! According to runtime reports from various movie theaters, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be 150 mins long, giving us a full 2.5 hours of content! The movie will be as long as most of The Avengers Films, making it the longest MCU Spider-Man film and second-longest MCU movie to date.

The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and  Marisa Tomei all reprising their roles from the previous Spidey films, with Benedict Cumberbatch joining the fray as Doctor Strange (but maybe don’t call him “Stephen,” that’s weird). The film is directed by Jon Watts, and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers; the film is produced by Kevin and Feige Amy Pascal, and executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach.

Spider-Man No Way Home is coming to theaters on December 17, 2021. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for all things Marvel!
