A special holiday menu is available at Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure park from December 2 – January 7, 2017. The signature restaurant at Disneyland Resort will offer seasonal dishes in addition to favorites such as the Carthay Signature Fried Biscuits, Wagyu Beef & Truffle Ravioli and Fire Cracker Duck Wings.
On both the lunch and dinner menus, the new Chili Relleno “Open Face” with crispy duck confit, butternut squash and prickly pear vinaigrette is a flavorful starter. Also the Chilled “Del Pacifico” Shrimp on Hot Gorditas with avocado and mango-habanero vinaigrette. Or the Roasted Parsnip-Chestnut Soup.
The guest-favorite king salmon is served with coconut red rice and a mint and golden bell pepper miso lime broth. And for dinner, there’s a Crispy Buttermilk Fried Quail with cranberry bean salad, kale-pecan pesto and a blood orange sauce. Leg of lamb and holiday prime rib round out the savory seasonal menu.
Be sure to save room for dessert…especially the Valrhona Chocolate Peppermint Mousse Crunch, Holiday Ginger Caramel Monkey Bread or a Vanilla Custard Tart with Cranberry Compote.
