Lunar New Year is quickly approaching and the Disneyland Resort is getting ready to celebrate with many new experiences and offerings. To honor the special occasion, the resort is hosting the Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney California Adventure. With special merchandise, lively entertainment, and holiday decor, the party is a delightful seasonal addition to the park. One of the new special items available during the festival is the recently announced special-edition Disney Gift Card.
The new gift card features Mickey and Minnie all dressed up for the new year blowout in traditional Chinese attire. It looks like Mickey’s even brought his piggy bank along to help ring in “The Year of the Pig”. The new card also features a spiral wristband making it easy to carry around. This is sure to come in handy while touring all of the delectable marketplaces serving Asian-inspired dishes and beverages. During the festivities, the Paradise Gardens area of Disney California Adventure will host booths featuring an array of delicacies like stir-fry, bao, noodle dishes and more.
The special-edition Lunar New Year Disney Gift card can be activated with any amount from $15 to $1,000 and can be used for all party offerings. Disneyland Resort’s Lunar New Year Celebration takes place from January 25 to February 17 this year. Access to the festivities is included in park admission.
