Due to decreased demand Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card game will be closing down at the end of January in Walt Disney World.
This interactive scavenger hunt through the Magic Kingdom was a favorite to guests and collectors alike.
Guests would stop by the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A. to sign up and receive their Sorcerer Key Card, Merlin’s mystical map, and spell cards.
Disney would even give guests limited-time offering cards during park special events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card game experience is set to close on Sunday, Jan. 24th, 2021, guests can still participate in the experience at the Magic Kingdom till then.

I am glad to say that I played for the 1st time on Dec 25th. Sad to say I won’t be able to play again!
That was one of my favorite things to do at the Magic Kingdom. I introduced my niece and nephew to it the last time we were there and they had a blast. Hoping they can revamp it instead of just shutting it down. And hope that they looked at the activity for more than just this last year when they were shut down and had fewer guests in attendance.
My son enjoyed this game so much every time we went to Magic Kingdom. We just left there in December and he played it while we were there. He loves collecting the cards. I think if more people knew about it, they would play. Not many people know about it because it’s not advertised well.
We loved this game but we only knew about it due to a Disney forum… despite the signage on site no-one was aware that it was available or free … we introduced 7 families to it over our stay and told them how to get involved after they kept staring at us or asking us how we did it!
My only hope is that it doesn’t end completely but evolves – still you can’t beat collecting cards!
