Everyone adores Reddit, the social platform for every category in the world including Disney, well someone recently posted a photo of Mr Roy Disney statue wearing a face mask! Clearly Roy Disney is reminding guests how to wear masks properly at Walt Disney World Resort!
Whilst its unsure who placed the mask on Roy’s statue, many on the original Reddit post speculate that it was either a guest or a Cast Member before the parks opened! Reddit user u/charliezard7 claimed that he found the statue with the mask and did not place it himself. Particularly, as placing a mask on Roy is counted as vandalism, therefore, we assume that a guest must have placed the mask on Roy! However, user Charliezward7 wanted to share this photo to build awareness around the importance of wearing your mask whilst on property to protect not only yourself but those around you! Other Cast Members have also raised awareness around wearing masks by placing them on plush!
