A Straightened View of the Eiffel Tower

For years, fans have chuckled at the “leaning Eiffel Tower,” a quirky side effect of the screen’s curvature. This update addresses the issue by adjusting the sequence’s perspective. Riders now approach the tower from much farther away, offering a more accurate and upright view of the Parisian landmark. The smoother approach feels more cinematic, ensuring a breathtaking moment for guests soaring over the City of Light.

A Celebration of World Celebration

The final scene, showcasing EPCOT, now reflects the updates to the World Celebration neighborhood. As riders glide toward Spaceship Earth, the former Fountain of Nations and Pin Central have been replaced by the redesigned plaza. The scene features the illuminated EPCOT logo embedded into the ground near a central planter—though, true to life, these lights have not been operational for months.

Tinker Bell continues to sprinkle her pixie dust as fireworks burst into the night sky, forming a familiar Mickey silhouette behind Spaceship Earth. Combined with the ride’s iconic score, the updates are a fitting finale to this global journey.

Enhanced Visuals and Clarity

In addition to these changes, the entire ride film appears sharper and more vibrant, indicating a general upgrade to the projection quality. The clearer visuals make every scene—from the sweeping Swiss Alps to the majestic Iguazu Falls—even more stunning, adding to the attraction’s enduring appeal.
