According to the Disney World website Soarin’ will be closing January 4th, 2016 and will re-open in the summer of 2016. They are closing to add a third theater and to enhance the existing theaters.

The all new Soarin’ Around the World will take you on an amazing new journey. You will soar over far away lands and over some of the most amazing landscapes that you will ever see. All without leaving Florida! This attraction will use the same technology as the attraction Shanghai.

OH NO! We’re taking our foster son to Disney World the first week of February and Soarin’ was one of his favorite rides when we were in Disneyland over the summer! 🙁

Seriously!!!! My 16 year old has been looking forward to this ride since we told him we were going! He is going to be so disappointed. We go in February.
