Snow White’s Storybook Dining Review

Storybook Dining Review

Snow White’s Storybook Dining Review. Storybook Dining at Artist Point in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge reopened recently and we had the chance to enjoy a night out and savor the menu along with the characters from Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Is it worth the $60.00 for the Storybook Dining adults’ price tag? We think so.

From the ambiance of the room when you walk into the dining room, which looks and feels like a forest. To the serving tray, which is a tree with 3 levels that lights up and spins. All the way through the 3-course meal and the interaction of the characters, until the finale of the special dessert, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Stand-out food items at Storybook Dining were the appetizer of Hunters Pie but dipped in the mushroom bisque. Our actual main course of the Magic Mirror’s Slow-braised Pork Shank was amazing. It fell right off the bone, and the flavor was top-notch. The prime rib was medium rare and perfectly cooked, with the fat still on the meat that had soaked in all the flavor.

For dessert the highlight was “Poison” Apple – Dark Chocolate-Apple Mousse and Sour Center I dunno why it hit so good, but it was a surprise. Fair warning though, use a spoon, the red dye stays with you on the fingers.

We have to say seeing the characters at Storybook Dining from afar diminished the overall experience. I am not advocating for a return of physical meet and greets, but having the 4 characters just walk back and forth and stop and take a photo from a distance was not as enjoyable as it could have been, Yes The Evil Queen still gives off the amazing vibe and is fun to be around. Yes, you can still do the Silly Dance. Overall though that part was lacking.
