This summer, Disney is hoping to relaunch ‘The Lone Ranger‘, the ever popular western hero, as a new action-adventure franchise for the company. Starring Johnny Depp as Tonto, the Ranger’s faithful sidekick, and Armie Hammer as the titular Ranger, the film is set to be released July 3, 2013. The film’s marketing campaign is starting to kick into full gear now, trying to get everyone anticipated for this summer’s blockbuster. To help wet your appetite for this Sunday’s Super Bowl, Disney has released a teaser of the spot that will run during the game, as well as a new poster for the film.
