We sure have a treat today for those of you who just can’t get enough of New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. New signature images have just been released that I think sure put the “fantasy” into New Fantasyland. This first signature image shows a view of New Fantasyland in detail from the very top turret of Cinderella’s Castle. The landscape stretches from Maurice’s Cottage on the left, all the way to the colorful Storybook Circus on the right.
Another photo depicts Belle enjoying a book right outside Maurice’s Cottage, with Beast’s Castle high up on the mountains in the background. Anyone catch the Hidden Mickey in this pic?
Here, Ariel gazes at Prince Eric’s Castle while the tide rushes in. Can’t you just hear her singing “Part of Your World?”

I like Maurice’s cottage best. I would love if New Fantasyland felt a more peaceful and less crowded than “old” Fantasyland.
Wellllll…I’m a little disappointed…I was looking forward to cottages for ALL the princesses and the fairy forest. They give Belle and Ariel a castle, and that’s extent I guess. I may get some ‘boos’ here with my comment, but hasn’t The Little Mermaid been done enough already? We saw the show at Hollywood Studios, the old grotto, and the Little Nemo dark ride kind of already gives you that under the sea type feeling. I was kind of hoping they’d do something for the older princesses. I know they are getting to Snow White later on, but what about Sleeping Beauty? Doesn’t she deserve a mention? I don’t know…I just didn’t get all the goosies for the mermaid dark ride like everyone else. I do look forward to Beauty and the Beast though. Leaves me longing for the poor fairies to have a home though…they could have made it into a little playground type area themed to the fairy forest 🙂
Ariel!
