Sign for Spirit of Aloha removed from Disney’s Polynesian Resort Lobby. Looks like any mention of the Spirit of Aloha show, which was home at the Polynesian Resort and a fan favorite, is being removed from the whole resort.
The first sign you see upon entering the Polynesian Resort and Spa when coming off the monorail was a sign that pointed you in the right direction. Kona one way, Ohana the other way, and until yesterday, it pointed to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. We actually could not find any mention of Spirit of Aloha around Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Spirit of Aloha was stopped when Disney shut down for the pandemic a few years ago, and never returned when Disney reopened. Word finally came out a few months ago that this fan favorite show would not be returning, in fact, it would be demolished and replaced by a new DVC tower.
