‘Happily Ever After’ and ‘Fantasmic!’ Set for Showtime Changes This August

If watching Happily Ever After under the stars at Magic Kingdom or taking in the dramatic water-and-fire spectacle of Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is on your late-summer itinerary, you’ll want to double-check your park plans! Walt Disney World is shifting showtimes for both fan-favorite nighttime entertainment offerings starting in late August.

As the sun begins setting earlier heading into late summer and autumn, Disney routinely adjusts nighttime entertainment times. Here is everything you need to know about when and where to catch these spectaculars on your next trip!

‘Happily Ever After’ Showtime Changes

Currently lighting up Cinderella Castle at 10:00 PM nightly, Magic Kingdom’s premier fireworks display will shift to an earlier time slot just before the end of the month.

• Starting August 31: Happily Ever After moves to 9:30 PM nightly (scheduled through at least September 19).
• Important Note: Happily Ever After will not be performed on select nights when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place at Magic Kingdom. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app on your visit day!

‘Fantasmic!’ Showtime Changes

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey Mouse’s dream world will also see its performance schedule move up in two distinct phases:

Phase 1: August 23 – September 17

• Daily Performance: 8:30 PM
• Second Performance (Fridays, Sundays & Tuesdays): 10:00 PM

Phase 2: Starting September 18

• Daily Performance: 8:30 PM
• Second Performance: Shifting 30 minutes earlier to 9:30 PM

Planning Tip: Showtimes often continue to adjust earlier as fall and winter approach. Always cross-reference your schedule in the official My Disney Experience app to ensure you don’t miss a minute of the evening magic!
