Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love is in the air! For some of us, that panic might be setting in about “what gift do I get my wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance?” If your significant other happens to be a Disney lover, then you’re in luck!
Here are some great Disney Theme Gift Ideas:
Photo Gifts: Put together a Disney Scrapbook full of Disney trip pictures, old Fastpasses, and other trinkets you’ve picked up along the way! Disney scrapbooking supplies can be found at most local craft store chains, and this is a gift you can really personalize and make unique. Should you not be the crafty scrapbooking type, fear not – you can always make a photo album or even just a framed Disney trip photo would make a perfect gift – and you can even order some Disney Frames or Albums straight from the Mouse himself
Disney Eats: Disney Food is the best, no doubt about that! Luckily there are ways you can recreate some of that deliciousness at home – like by recreating your significant others favorite Disney restaurant meal using recipes from a Disney Cookbook. If none of those look appetizing or you don’t have time to order the book, then make use of that Mickey Mouse cookie cutter you bought last time you were at Disney World and whip up your honey’s favorite cookie recipe. Don’t have a Mickey cookie cutter? Then freehand some Mickey shaped pancakes for a breakfast that is sure to make them smile (the best thing about the pancakes is you can eat your misshapen ‘mistakes’ along the way)
DIY Disney Gift Basket: This one is a personal favorite because it’s super easy and can be tailored to fit any budget. Take a basket/bin you have at home (or grab a cute heart shaped one from the dollar store!), and fill it with Disney fun – both Wal-Mart and Target carry Disney themed goodies for holidays, like conversation hearts, gummies and other candy, greeting cards, coloring books, stuffed animals and toys, Disney themed games (like Yahtzee, Apples to Apples, Uno, and more!), and assorted dinnerware like plates, bowls, mugs, cups, water bottles, etc – there really is a LOT of Disney stuff at these stores, and you can put together a really great gift basket for your loved one for under $20!
Disney Movie Night – Give them a copy of their favorite Disney movie on DVD (or if they already own it, you can wrap the copy they own) and give it with a coupon stating that you will have a “Lady And The Tramp” movie night with them, where you watch the movie together. Don’t forget the kleenex (as most Disney movies are tearjerkers!) and the snacks – you could even make the meal or snacks for that night match the movie, like serving spaghetti and meatballs while watching Lady and the Tramp, or munching on apples while watching Snow White, etc. They will be thrilled that you are willing to watch their most loved Disney classic with them
Should you be lucky enough to be celebrating Valentine’s Day or your honeymoon/engagement/anniversary in Disney World, then you can get some help from the magic experts and order flowers, champagne, jewelry and much more, and have it delivered directly to your Resort Room via Disney Floral and Gifts to surprise the one you love
These ideas work for Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries, or for any other time you want to show that Disney fanatic in your life just how special they are to you (And if YOU happen to be the Disney lover of the family, maybe you could forward your loved ones this article as a not-so-subtle hint!)
