Inside, guests can enjoy “The Last Verse,” a 3.5-minute short film that reveals a previously unreleased verse for “it’s a small world.” A helpful slide is also on hand to explain the verse to guests.
“In 2023, Richard Sherman of the famed Sherman Brothers songwriting duo wrote a new verse to the iconic “it’s a small world.” This final verse builds upon the song’s hopeful message of peace across all humankind.”
The verse has also been added to the finale scene of “it’s a small world” starting today, July 17. Richard Sherman wrote it as his last Disney project. The lyrics are:
“Mother earth unites us in heart and mind
And the love we give makes us humankind
Through our vast wondrous land
When we stand hand in hand
It’s a small world after all.”
