Though we are still waiting on release details for the upcoming ‘Andor‘ Star Wars Disney+ Series it appears that the highly anticipated show has been approved for a second season! Series star Stellan Skarsgård recently shared in a Swedish interview that the series will see the return of Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and the show has been set up for another season.

Disney’s “lucky charm” Alan Tudyk has also previously shared that his beloved droid K-2SO will not appear in season 1 of the series but shared that Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy has plans for K-2SO to join the story “later on” referring to an additional season for the show.
“Andor, a tense nail-biting spy thriller created by Tony Gilroy, is set to arrive on Disney+ in 2022. Diego Luna, reprising the role of rebel spy Cassian Andor from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will be joined by a fantastic new cast that includes Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma.”
