SeaWorld Orlando's Inaugural Howl-O-Sprint: A 5K Race Like No Other on Friday the 13th

Run for Your Life on Friday the 13th at America’s Scariest 5K, SeaWorld Orlando’s Inaugural Howl-O-Sprint Run

Thrill-seekers and runners alike are invited to experience a unique Halloween-themed 5K race at SeaWorld Orlando. The inaugural Howl-O-Sprint, taking place on Friday, September 13th, 2024, promises a heart-pounding adventure through the park’s eerie landscapes and harrowing scare zones.

Starting at the stroke of midnight, participants will navigate a course filled with relentless characters and spine-chilling surprises. The race weaves through the dark depths of SeaWorld, passing haunted roller coasters and eerie environments designed to test the bravery of even the most seasoned runners.

After conquering the course, racers and a limited number of spectators can celebrate their escape at an exclusive post-race party at Siren’s Bar, featuring delectable treats and live entertainment until 2 AM. Competitive runners can also vie for awards for the top three male and female finishers.

SeaWorld Orlando’s President, Jon Peterson, expressed the park’s dedication to creating immersive experiences for its guests, stating that the Howl-O-Sprint 5K is a unique and thrilling event that aligns with the award-winning Howl-O-Scream atmosphere. He encourages the bravest individuals to test their limits in this one-of-a-kind nighttime terror adventure.

With limited spots available, those interested in participating are encouraged to sign up quickly. Due to the event’s mature content, including scenes of violence, gore, and blood, the Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run is recommended for adults only and is not suitable for children.
