Complimentary Shuttle That Connects Busch Gardens Tampa with SeaWorld Orlando Is Ending
A major update is coming for guests hoping to split their adventure between Orlando and Tampa. The complimentary shuttle connecting SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will roll out for the last time on November 2, 2025.

That means starting November 3, 2025, guests will need to arrange their own transportation if they want to enjoy both parks on the same vacation. While the free shuttle has been a favorite perk for years, there are still plenty of ways to make the 80–90 mile journey between the two parks. Here’s a quick look at the alternatives:
• Intercity Bus – Companies like FlixBus and Greyhound run direct routes that take around 1 hour and 35 minutes. These are affordable and include onboard WiFi and restrooms, though you’ll need to arrange local rides to and from the bus stations.
• Train – Amtrak offers a scenic ride between Orlando and Tampa in about 2 hours. Trains don’t run as frequently, so careful planning is key.
• Private Shuttle / Van Services – Shared and private van services can be booked ahead for door-to-door convenience. They’re flexible for groups or travelers with luggage, though usually pricier than bus or train options.
• Rideshare – Uber and Lyft can make the trip in about 90–100 minutes. A good choice for smaller groups or anyone who values convenience over cost.
• Car Rental / Personal Vehicle – Driving yourself is still the most flexible option. The trip takes around 90 minutes depending on traffic, but keep in mind tolls, parking fees, and I-4’s reputation for congestion.

While it’s the end of an era for the free shuttle, the good news is there’s no shortage of ways to bridge the distance between Orlando’s marine thrills and Tampa’s coaster kingdom. With a little planning, you can still make a splash at SeaWorld and scream your way through Busch Gardens all in the same trip.
