LEGOLAND Florida Resort Announces Opening Date for SEA LIFE Aquarium and Shifting to Resort-Wide Recyclable Bags
Get ready to dive into a world of underwater wonders! LEGOLAND® Florida Resort has officially announced that its highly anticipated SEA LIFE Aquarium will open its doors to the public on May 23, 2025.
This brand-new attraction promises an immersive and interactive experience for guests of all ages, featuring 25 captivating exhibits. The centerpiece is a massive ocean display with a unique “Theme Park Under the Sea” design, unlike any other SEA LIFE Aquarium in the world. This creative theme incorporates playful elements like coral castles, carousel hideaways, and cozy hotel-like spaces, providing a stimulating environment for the animals while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Designed with a focus on children, SEA LIFE Florida will transport visitors to a breathtaking ocean habitat, complete with 150,000 gallons of water, a vibrant freshwater gallery, a colorful stingray bay, and a hands-on invertebrate touch pool. Guests will encounter over 3,000 fascinating creatures representing 150 different species, from local Florida marine life to exotic inhabitants from across the globe. Some of the highlights include blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, and big-belly seahorses.
To celebrate the opening date announcement, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is inviting guests to participate in an exciting scavenger hunt. LEGO® sea creatures are hidden throughout the park, waiting to be discovered by eagle-eyed explorers.
With its unique theming, interactive exhibits, and diverse array of marine life, SEA LIFE Florida is poised to become a must-visit destination for families and ocean enthusiasts alike.

In partnership with SEA LIFE TRUST, SEA LIFE Florida is dedicated to marine conservation, animal welfare and ocean education. In a continued effort to reduce single-use plastic, LEGOLAND Florida Resort, PEPPA PIG Theme Park Florida and SEA LIFE Florida will all begin using recyclable bags on May 23.
