Those traveling to Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom will discover a scrim now covers the train station. The scrim covering is used for construction purposes. But given no major construction projects have been announced for the train station, we’re sure it’s just for minor cosmetic work.
The Walt Disney World Train Station has been closed to guests since December 3, 2018. But the good news is that’ll reopen in 2021. Just in time for the 50th anniversary celebration!
It’s hard to believe how next year marks a major milestone for Walt Disney World Resort. The Florida-based vacation destination will celebrate its 50th anniversary on October 1st, 2021. The Magic Kingdom opened on that date marking the beginning of Disney magic in central Florida.
Epcot also celebrates its anniversary on October 1st, though next year will not be a milestone anniversary for that park. While we don’t know specific details about the Magic Kingdom celebration, we do know that this will be a Walt Disney World anniversary celebration with all four theme parks taking part.
We’re sure the touch-ups and work being done on the Magic Kingdom Train Station will be magical! We’re looking forward to next year’s major milestone. Will any of our fans be going to Disney World next year?
