Fans Get a First Look at the Scooter Animatronic for Rock n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
The countdown to May 26 is officially on, and the excitement for the grand reopening of Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is reaching a fever pitch. While we’ve known about the Electric Mayhem’s takeover for a while, Disney has just shared some incredible new details regarding the pre-show, the soundtrack, and the updated retail experience.
Scooter Takes the Stage as an Advanced Audio-Animatronic
One of the most exciting updates coming to the attraction’s pre-show is the addition of a brand-new Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter. The Muppets’ trusty stage manager will be front and center, working tirelessly to get the Electric Mayhem’s massive concert tour on the road. This advanced figure will bring a whole new level of life to the studio queue as Scooter coordinates the chaos that only the Muppets can provide.
A Set List Worthy of the Electric Mayhem
It wouldn’t be Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster without a legendary soundtrack, and the Electric Mayhem has curated a high-energy set list for your high-speed limousine ride through Los Angeles. Guests will blast off to iconic tracks like:
- Song 2 – The Electric Mayhem
- Born To Be Wild – The Electric Mayhem ft. Camilla the Chicken
- Love Rollercoaster – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
- Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop) – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
- Walking on Sunshine – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson
Each stretch of track has been synchronized with the music to ensure that every twist, turn, and inversion feels like you are right in the middle of a live performance.
On-Ride Photos and PhotoPass Memories
Your journey through the neon-lit streets of Hollywood will be captured like never before. The attraction features updated on-ride photo locations that put you and your “tour group” right in the heart of the action.
Even better, Disney PhotoPass photographers will be stationed near the entrance and throughout the courtyard to capture themed Magic Shots featuring some of your favorite Muppet characters.
Rock Around the Shop
Once you exit your super-stretch limo, the party continues at the newly reimagined gift shop, Rock Around the Shop. This retail space has been completely transformed with Muppet-inspired decor and exclusive Electric Mayhem merchandise. From vintage-style tour tees and varsity jackets to plush Groovy Dr. Teeth and Animal hats, it is the ultimate stop for any fan looking to take a piece of the show home with them.
