Scaffolding down at Tomorrowland’s Power & Light Building. With a reopening expected for November 6th, 2022, progress is being made on what is supposed to be the exit for both Space Mountain and the new Tron Lightcycle/ Run Coaster. The opening of Disney’s newest coaster is coming this spring of 2023.
With the old awning now removed from the facade of Tomorrowland Power & Light Company in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, all the scaffolding has been removed. It is a sign of progress. The old covers have been removed, new lights have been installed, and now we wait to see how Disney will finish the outside. Pillars were refinished, and more theming was removed from the old look of the building. No word on if the old gears that were the face of the building will be reinstalled.
