Big changes are coming to the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Starting on August 20, the iconic parade will now begin at 2:00 pm versus it’s traditional 3:00 pm start time. The “3 O’clock Parade” has been a standard at the Magic Kingdom for several years.
The My Disney Experience App has been updated to reflect this time change.

No official word has been issued by Disney on why the start time of the parade is being changed. However, this change comes on the heels of rumors circulating that the Paint the Night nighttime parade at Disneyland is packed up and ready to be shipped off to another park. What do you think of this change? Will it change your plans at all? Do you think this change points to a new nighttime parade coming back to the Magic Kingdom?
