Sam Neill Shares New Photo from the Set of 'Jurassic World: Dominion'

Sam Neill Shares New Photo from the Set of ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’. Though Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm) has already made an appearance in the Jurassic World Trilogy, Jurassic World: Dominion will see the return of all three original cast members, Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler) and Sam Neill (Alan Grant).Director, Colin Trevorrow, announced the news that Sam Neill and Laura Dern would be reprising their roles as Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sadler during a special screening of Jurassic World, hosted by Collider earlier this year.

Neill shared a special photo from the set of Jurassic World: Dominion via Twitter along with the caption: “Hello old friend.”

Not only will Ian, Ellie, and Alan from Jurassic Park be in Jurassic World: Dominion, they are reported to have significant roles in the film. Life truly does find a way. Jeff Goldblum’s character, Ian Malcolm, has previously reappeared for a short scene, but this will be the first appearance of Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler in the newer franchise.

Dern, Neill, and Goldblum are listed with fellow cast members, Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), and Isabella Sermon (Maisie) on IMDb.com. Jurassic World: Dominion is set to be directed by Colin Trevorrow and written by Derek Connolly, based on characters by Michael Crichton. It is currently unknown what the premise of the film will be or how these characters from the different sides of the Jurassicfranchise will come to know each other, but we know one thing for sure, there will be plenty of dinosaurs and adventure!

Are you excited to see the original cast together on screen again? How do you think Alan and Ellie will return? Do you think the characters will mesh well with Claire and Owen? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for all things Jurassic Park and Jurassic World!
