Ryan Reynolds Shares Touching Message on the Passing of Betty White

On December 31, 2021, iconic film and television actress Betty White passed away from natural causes in her Los Angeles home. White was beloved by generations of fans for her impressive tenure as an actress, earning an impressive 121 credited roles throughout her life as well as countless cameos and guest appearances. Family, fans, and co-stars from around the world have been sharing memories and favorite moments about Betty and to honor her memory we wanted to share her incredible life story and the warm tributes from those who love and miss her.

One of her biggest fans is her The Proposal co-star, Ryan Reynolds who has teased for years that Betty White was his “ex-girlfriend”. The two remained good friends after working together and like the rest of the world, Reynolds was saddened at the news of her passing and shared a touching tribute in her honor.

Ryan shared photos of Betty on his social media accounts along with the caption, “The world looks a little different now. She was great at defying expectation. She managed to grow very old and somehow, not old enough. We’ll miss you, Betty. Now you know the secret.“
