Ryan Reynolds ‘Clue’ Movie gets a new writer

Ryan Reynolds has found a new writer for the ”Clue” movie remake.

James Bobin is attached to direct Clue for 20th Century Studios with Reynolds’ Maximum Effort producing. Clue will likely be a modern take on the classic whodunnit game, with Reynolds leading the film in hilarious fashion. This marks the second time that someone will take on a live-action adaptation of the classic game.

The Clue remake is based on the 1985 black comedy mystery film, directed by Johnathan Lynn, whichfollows the games to the letter and showcases six strangers, who by invitation reach a secluded New England mansion. All six are victims of blackmail victims and on arrival, each one of them is given a pseudonym before being introduced to the blackmailer. At some point in the night, the blackmailer is killed. Now the guests need to uncover the murderer among themselves.
