January 15-18, 2015 brings the first Star Wars runDisney races to Anaheim. There will be Kids Races, a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Rebel Challenge (both 10K and Half Marathon).

The Rebel Challenge Medal is my favorite because it spins – here is a picture of the front and back:
I love that the Jedi Master Yoda and the Dark Side’s Darth Vader are commemorated on this medal.
The Star Wars Half Marathon medal may test your Star Wars knowledge. Those familiar with Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope will recognize that the medal is influenced by the Medal of Bravery presented to Battle of Yavin heroes Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
I am running the 10K with my husband and, if we don’t die, we will be getting this awesome hexagon shaped medal featuring a StormTrooper!
