Royal Caribbean removing pre-cruise COVID testing for vaccinated guests on voyages of five days or less
The CDC recently removed all Covid-19 regulations for cruise lines and some cruise lines are now changing their requirements. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line will no longer require Covid testing for vaccinated guests on sailings of 5 days or less.
Starting August 8, vaccinated guests sailing on cruises of 5 days or less will no longer have to get a Covid-19 test prior to sailing. Other protocols starting August 8th include:
- Requiring testing for unvaccinated guests on all sailings, and for vaccinated guests on sailings that are six nights or longer.
- Maintaining a high percentage of fully vaccinated guests onboard all our sailings, far above the general population.
- All crew will continue to be fully vaccinated and boosted when eligible, and tested regularly.
As of right now, Royal Caribbean still requires all guests ages 12 and up to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Stay tuned for more updates and changes as they are announced!
