Legend of the Seas Arrives Summer 2026

Legend of the Seas, the third Icon Class ship, will carry approximately 7,000 passengers and measure 250,800 gross tons. Following the immense success of Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas, this new ship continues Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking Icon Class, setting a new standard for megaship experiences.
Royal Caribbean’s newest Icon ship will debut in the Mediterranean before transitioning to Florida. Starting August 2026 (revised from the initial July announcement), the ship will offer 7-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona, Spain. These voyages will explore historically significant and scenic ports in France, Italy, and Spain.
The inaugural Legend of the Seas cruise, a 7-night Western Mediterranean voyage departing Barcelona, sets sail on August 2, 2026. The itinerary includes Palma De Mallorca, Spain; Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; and Naples, Italy.
Following the Mediterranean season, Legend of the Seas will reposition to its new homeport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Starting November 2026, the ship will offer 6-night Western and 8-night Southern Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades. Legend’s first Fort Lauderdale sailing, a 3-night voyage to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas, departs on November 11.
