The reviews are in for Marvel Studios Disney+ ‘Hawkeye’ Series! Though the series has a long way to go, critics and audiences are loving the new live-action Hawkeye series on Disney+. Currently, the show is standing at a 87% critics rating and 95% audiences score on Rotten Tomatoes after the premiere of the first two episodes. A certified rating will be announced by the reputable critiquing site after the series one finale at Christmastime, but it’s clear to see the series will earn a certified fresh rating when all is said and done.

Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” is an original new series set in post-blip New York City where former Avenger Clint Barton aka Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy. The series also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie.
The first two episodes of “Hawkeye” are now available to stream exclusively on Disney+, with new episodes premiering on the following Wednesday’s leading up to a Christmastime season 1 finale. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for updates and all things Disney+!
