The LONG Refurbishment of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios has been delayed. Originally the refurbishment was supposed to start today and run through sometime this summer.

Disney has now pushed back the refurbishment to tomorrow so guests have one more day to enjoy this fan-favorite coaster. To me, this makes better sense with crowd levels as high as they are this past weekend due to “Presidents Day.”

Just next door, the Tower of Terror at Walt Disney World has completed work and all Shafts are now operating together. This has dropped wait times from 80-90 minutes daily down to 20-40 minutes. This is much needed for Hollywood Studios with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster going down till Summer 2023.
There is still no OFFICIAL word on if this attraction will be rethemed due to Steven Tyler being in a news lately.
