Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Gets Summer 2026 Opening Date
The revamped Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is scheduled to speed into Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Summer 2026. The new attraction promises a wild, high-speed ride across Hollywood with the Electric Mayhem, complete with backstage chaos, high-speed thrills, and signature Muppet humor.

The ride’s narrative centers on an urgent attempt to get the band, Electric Mayhem, to their own concert on time. Guests will join the frantic scene where Scooter, acting as the band manager, will be working alongside a dedicated team of penguin audio engineers to convince the band to stop laying down tracks.
A major highlight of the refurbishment will be the introduction of new Audio-Animatronics figures. This marks the first time Scooter has been imagined as an Audio-Animatronics figure. Furthermore, there are indications that Scooter may not be the only new Muppet Audio-Animatronics figure joining the attraction, suggesting additional reveals are forthcoming.
