Rock formations starting to take shape at Moana Journey of Water Attraction

Work is ongoing for the new Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction in Epcot. We’re now able to see rock formations taking shape!

Twitter user Bioreconstruct shared a few different views of the construction:

The photos show that the rock formations can be seen from walkways in Epcot as well as from the monorail.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will consist of a lush walk-through environment that engages and educates guests about the water cycle and how it sustains our world. The attraction will be anchored by a massive topiary of Te Fiti.

We still don’t know when the attraction will open but we’re excited to see the progress being made!
