Robot Enthusiast Spends Two Years Bringing Pixar’s WALL-E to Life

According to gawker.com, Mike Senna, a part-time robot builder from Orange County, California, dedicated over 3,000 man hours across two year to constructing a fully functioning RC replica of the robot WALL-E from Pixar’s animated movie of the same name.

With no hobbyist parts available, Senna says he was forced to build his WALL-E replica from scratch. You can follow the entire build process on his website.

A computer programmer by trade, Senna is already well-known in hobbyist circles for his incredible realization of the Star Wars droid R2-D2.
