We have another update in the ever-evolving saga of what will Disney do with Restaurant Marrakesh: the former restaurant in the World Showcase’s Morocco Pavilion has become a Kidcot stop, marking the transition of the fun stop from the marketplace to the shuttered restaurant.

The Restaurant Marrakesh menu is still available on the Walt Disney World website, but is noted as ‘Temporarily Unavailable.’ The resteraunt closed during the COVID pandemic, and has not reopened. It has served as a Passholder lounge recently before being converted to a KIdcot Stop.

Kidcot Fun Stops are located throughout the World Showcase, and provide a fun and engaging way for kids to learn about the various cultures represented at EPCOT. Kids can navigate through 11 locations to pick up activity cards along with a momento that features facts fun activities about culture and traditions of each country. Here is a full lineup of all of the Kidcot Fun Stops:
- Mexico Pavilion (near Mexico Folk Art Gallery)
- Norway Pavilion (at The Puffin’s Roost)
- China Pavilion (near the exit of Reflections of China)
- Germany Pavilion (at Volkunst)
- Italy Pavilion (outside, near La Bottega Italiana)
- American Adventure Pavilion (outside, near Art of Disney)
- Japan Pavilion (in the Bijutsu-kan Gallery)
- Morocco Pavilion (in the Restaurant Marrakesh)
- France Pavilion (at Souvenirs de France)
- United Kingdom Pavilion (at The Toy Soldier)
- Canada Pavilion (at the exit of Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360)
