Remember back in 2010 when Disney gave a new paint job to one of their monorails in celebration of Tron Legacy. There was a huge outcry of complaints and praises alike. I for one liked the new upgrade and hoped we would see more modifications to the monorails at Walt Disney World. I have never been to California but I think the monorails at Disneyland are much sleeker and more modern looking.
Sources at Walt Disney World say that wrapping is coming off the Tronorail as we speak and it will be back to its former glory. No news if we will see a Winnie the Pooh or Cars 2 train anytime soon.
Rest in Peace Tronorail we will miss you, and maybe we will see your again when Tron 3 comes out.

I believe they should change the monorail every year or everytime something new comes out. I personally would love to see Captain Jack Sparrow on the monorail LOL.
During our last trip they had Stitch painted on the fronts like he was crawling around the outside of the monorail. It was fun!!!
I can see why people would be upset about a monorail train being used as a glorified billboard, but it made it stand out so much, perhaps it’s time for all of them to get a new paint job.
I love the Tronorail, hopefully we will see you again. Cars 2 would be cool too..
I like the Tron train as well. The reason the Disneyland trains look newer and sleeker is because they probably are. When a new Mark of Monorails comes out, they alternate which resort gets them. If those are the newest Marks at Disneyland, then WDW will get the next set.
