Andi Mack season three is a go! The Disney Channel has renewed Andi Mack, it’s hit teen series, for a third season. The news was announced to the cast today during their appearance on Good Morning America.
The cast appeared on GMA to participate in a book donation to kids in underserved communities through First Book, Disney|ABC Television and Disney Publishing “Magic of Storytelling” initiative.
The remaining 12 episodes of season two will debut in June 2018. New episodes from the third season are scheduled to premiere later in 2018.
Andi Mack, which premiered on Disney Channel in April 2017, ranks in the Top 10 series for Kids and Girls 6-11. It is praised as a heartwarming, diverse coming-of- age story about the most important things in any young person’s life — family and friends, and the journey of self-discovery.
Andi Mack stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Andi Mack, Lilan Bowden as Bex Mack, Lauren Tom as Celia Mack, Joshua Rush as Cyrus Goodman, Sofia Wylie as Buffy Driscoll and Asher Angel as Jonah Beck. The show was created and is executive-produced by Terri Minsky (Lizzie McGuire). It is also executive-produced by Michelle Manning (The Breakfast Club, Disney Channel Original Movies Adventures in Babysitting and Teen Beach 2), while Phil Baker (Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie) is co-executive producer.
The show is set to resume filming soon in Salt Lake City, Utah.
