Remodel Underway for Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland is currently undergoing a remodel and renovation. The hotel is getting a completely new theme! Previously themed to California beachfront boardwalks, the hotel will be getting a Pixar overhaul. Once the remodel is complete, it will be called the Pixar Place Hotel.

One side of the hotel has been painted white with red, blue, and yellow vertical stripes going down the building. The other side of the hotel was painted white with no stripes as of the day we visited.
We also noticed a change to the front of the building. Part of the one vertical beam has started to be painted black with some silver paneling added. It looks like the hotel will be getting a more modern look. One of the side entrance doors is also blocked with a sign stating it’s only available for construction access.
That brings us to the front entrance of the hotel. Guests will need to enter the hotel another way as the entire front entrance is blocked by a barrier wall. A sign on the wall tells guests where to access the temporary entrance. You can also see more parts of the building have been painted white.
According to Disney, the Pixar Place Hotel “will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting, including fantastic areas for everyone to enjoy, like this “Finding Nemo”-themed splash pad area.”
