'Recess' Voice Actor, Jason Davis, Has Died at the Age of 35

‘Recess‘ Voice Actor, Jason Davis, Has Died at the Age of 35. Jason Davis was best known by Disney Fans as Mikey Blumberg on Disney’s Recess. The news of his passing came from a statement by his family on Sunday, February 16th.

“I am so heartbroken to share the saddest news of my life that my son Jason Davis passed away this morning in Los Angeles,” the Davis family statement reads. “Jason had a true heart of gold with such a zest for life. He was such a caring soul to everybody who ever knew him. He loved his friends and his family above all else. We ask for privacy as we take time to grieve this most devastating loss.”

Jason had recently founded Cure Addiction Now, a non-profit organization formed to help fund research into those suffering from substance abuse. Davis had been the voice of Mikey for the series run on Disney Channel, 3 feature films, and even worked on the Lilo & Stitch animated series on Disney Channel.
